We all know Homer Simpson best for his ridiculous and entertaining behaviour.................well, according to The Official Vatican Newspaper have declared that Homer and his son Bart are both Catholics, honestly!

"Few people know it, and he does everything to hide it. But it's true: Homer J. Simpson is Catholic", the Osservatore Romano newspaper said in an article on Sunday headlined "Homer and Bart are Catholics."

Most people will wonder how this has come about, well it was all down to a Jesuit priest who has studied a 2005 episode of "The Father, the Son and the Holy Guest Star" and maintains that "The Simpsons is among the few TV programs for kids in which Christian faith, religion and questions about God are recurrent themes."

After looking into this we have noticed that this is not the first time that this hilarious tv programme has been praised by the Vatican.

So for us viewers we can feel comfortable in the knowledge that not only is it a brilliant show to watch, but that it is also been approved by The Vatican!
