Kulula is South Africa's equivalent of the UK's Easy Jet, except their plane and flights are a lot more entertaining.
Kulula Airline was first established in July 2001 and began their flights a month later, their Head Office is situated in
Johannesburg and was setup as a
low-fare carrier.
Their comical ways caused them some grief this year when
FIFA complained about them describing their airline as the "Unofficial National Carrier of the You-Know-What", which resulted in them removing the offending advertisements.
If you were to book a flight with Kulula Airlines, you will notice their hilarious plane design which very clearly points out parts of the plane, and where the captain sits
(more photo's of their plane shown below), along with the fact that there is no assigned seating once you have boarded, which basically means you just sit where you like (this does not include the cockpit).
